The National Center for Academic Transformation (NCAT), led by Dr. Carol A. Twigg, is noted as one of today’s leaders in reducing costs in education. NCAT is an independent nonprofit organization that works with colleges and universities to redesign course structures and learning environments in order to make more academically effective and viably efficient.

Two and four year colleges are afforded opportunities to use NCAT’s experience and information technology to create the Program in Course Design (PCD). Currently, there are more than 150 courses of successful redesign projects.
As NCAT has proven its abilities in reducing higher education costs, they are an opinion leader in the finance of higher education.
